Part One – Blogging Again
It’s pretty common if you surf the Interwebs quite a lot to find a blog that hasn’t been updated, written on, or repaired for years or even a decade. After all, many people start blogs with the best of intentions (I’m going to build my brand, get my voice out there, have an outlet for my thoughts, etc.) but following through for a long period of time seems to be the exception, rather than the rule. For some of us, our yearly New Year’s resolution to write on our blog lasts less time than our newfound dedication to working out. That would be the boat I find myself in once again.
I do have good intentions every time I re-start writing on the blog, whether it be to share my SEO knowledge, chronicle my weight loss efforts, or just be a good example to my fledgeling writer daughter (who is a much better writer than me imo, her blog is at Cramps with Chelsea.) What could possibly get me back on the wagon? What is the secret ingredient that will not just initially motivate, but continue to fuel the passion for writing that I so desperately need? I have no idea. Let me know if you have one.
(Not much has changed in 8 years, on the blogging front anyway.)
